Stan Lee documentary

The goal of the next Stan Lee documentary is to provide insight into the alleged elder abuse that the Marvel icon endured in his latter years. “Stan Lee documentary” Jon Bolerjack, Stan Lee’s close friend and former assistant, directs Stan Lee: The Final Years, shedding light on the Marvel icon’s later life.

With hundreds of hours of footage from conventions, red carpets, and private moments, Bolerjack hopes to tell the truth about the struggles Lee endured behind the scenes. To complete the film, he has launched a Kickstarter campaign, calling on fans to help bring the project to life.

Uncovering the Truth

In the newly released trailer, Bolerjack states:

“Stan spent his final years enduring mistreatment, manipulation, and betrayal at the hands of a few very bad actors.”

These claims are not new. In 2018, reports surfaced that Lee’s daughter, J.C. Lee, as well as his manager and caretakers, allegedly took advantage of his wealth and status. Allegations ranged from financial exploitation to emotional manipulation.

A Prolonged Disputation

In 2018, The Hollywood Reporter revealed how Lee’s resources were depleted following the death of his wife. His daughter and associates were accused of controlling his assets, with some even facing legal scrutiny. In 2019, J.C. Lee fired back, claiming that Marvel and Disney treated her father worse than anyone else.

Now, Stan Lee: The Final Years aims to set the record straight with never-before-seen footage and firsthand accounts.

A Request for Assistance

Bolerjack is currently working on the documentary and is looking to raise money on Kickstarter to finish it. Supporters and admirers may help make sure the truth is spoken and Stan Lee’s legacy is respected.
