Diogo Jota death has plunged Portugal and Liverpool into mourning, as the 28-year-old Liverpool FC forward and his 26-year-old brother, André Jota of Penafiel, tragically died in a car accident in Zamora, Spain.
Their car swerved off the road and caught fire in the horrific collision that happened at kilometer 65 of the A-52 highway, close to Sanabria. According to emergency personnel, the fire also spread to nearby vegetation.
